A 19-year-old Bengali actor Riddhi Sen recently won a 65th National Film Award of Best Actor for the film, ‘Nagarkirtan’. Since the announcement of the award, Riddhi Sen has come into the limelight but do you know the actor is related to Bollywood superstar Kajol.
Well, if you are thinking about their real-life connection, then put a hold on your thoughts right there because Riddhi Sen is Kajol’s reel-life son. Yes, reportedly, Kajol who will next be seen in Pradeep Sarkar’s directorial venture, ‘Eela’, is playing the role of mother of Riddhi Sen.
Interestingly, after the announcement of National Film Awards, Kajol quickly took to Twitter and shared her happiness. She tweeted, “My virtual son from Eela wins a national award for his Bengali film Nagarkirtan ��. Awesomesauce Riddhi Sen!”

Well, when IANS got in touch with Riddhi Sen and asked about his experience after knowing that he got a national award, he said, “My mother called me. I was really surprised because in such a short time… a National Award? But the best part is my mother was always confident about me. And trust me, I will not take this award for granted.”
For those, who don’t know, Riddhi Sen has also worked in the films like ‘Kahaani’, ‘Parched’ and ‘Bhoomi’. Way to go Riddhi Sen!
