Peugeot to speak at Europe congress

Xavier Peugeot, director of product planning at Citroen, will be among the speakers June 6 at the Automotive News Europe Congress in Turin.

Peugeot was appointed to his position in November 2014, and he has helped oversee Citroen's push to redesign its lineup and add SUVs and crossovers, including the new C3 subcompact and C3 Aircross and C5 Aircross SUVs.

He joined the PSA Peugeot Citroen Group in 1994 and has held a number of positions in sales and marketing, including director of the Peugeot Netherlands subsidiary between 2005 and 2007 and director of marketing and communications for the Peugeot brand between 2009 and 2011. He was named director of product planning for Peugeot in 2012 and made a major contribution to building a global, coherent product range for the brand.

The 21st Automotive News Europe Congress will be held June 5-6 at Italdesign.

The eighth Automotive News Europe Rising Stars ceremony will be held June 5 at MAUTO car museum in Turin.
