DANIEL RICCIARDO has made huge strides up the Drivers' Championship table after winning the Chinese Grand Prix.
Red Bull star Ricciardo stayed out of trouble and pulled off some daring overtaking manoeuvres to win the Chinese Grand Prix ahead of Valtteri Bottas and Kimi Raikkonen.
The Australian started from sixth on the gird after engine trouble in qualifying but made some superb passes to earn maximum points, rocketing the 28-year-old up to fourth in the championship standings.
Sebastian Vettel still leads the way despite picking up just four points for finishing eighth after a collision with Max Verstappen.
Lewis Hamilton is close behind the Ferrari driver, having come home fourth in a disappointing weekend for Mercedes.
