A 29-year-old Burlington man faces a handful of drug-related charges after a home search led to the seizure of thousands worth in drugs. 

Halton police say on Friday they did a search of a home on Maple Crossing Boulevard where they found drugs worth an estimated street value of $6,000 

During the search police seized the following items: 

  • 508 grams of marijuana. 
  • 13 grams of cocaine.
  • $590 in cash.
  • Expandable baton.
  • "Crossman" pellet gun.
  • Scales.
  • cell phone.

The Burlington man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (marijuana), possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He was arrested and released on promise to appear in Milton Court May 15.
