SAN BENITO — Break out your running shoes, it's time to raise money for kids.
Sunny Glen Children’s Home will host its 6th Annual Incredible Kidz 5k- 1 Mile Fun Run.
The annual race aims to raise funds for the children's home to better the lives of the children it services.
Sunny Glen Children's Home provides a safe environment for neglected and abused children through residential care, counseling services and development programs.
Proceeds from the event will assist the center in purchasing updated technology such as computers for the children in the program.
According to a press release, the committee in charge of the race is anticipating a successful event and expects a great turn out.
Children 12 years old and younger can participate in the race for free.
