Bigg Boss Marathi highlights: Resham Tipnis, Usha Nadkarni gets locked in Bigg Boss house

After tasting success in Hindi, Tamil, the famous and controversial reality show, ‘Bigg Boss‘ is now back with its Marathi version hosted by Mahesh Manjrekar. The famous reality show is back to entertain the Marathi audience with its typical Marathi look of Tulsi Vrindavan, Limbu Mirchi and more. In the house, contestants have a gym and swimming pool. And contestants can see Mahesh Manjrekar through ‘Majhya Baacha TV’ in the meeting or Baithak room. The house is designed keeping Marathi culture in mind.

Bigg Boss has been one of the entertaining reality show for over a decade now, and for a while, the craze for the show has just been increasing every passing year. Meanwhile, in its maiden season, ‘Bigg Boss Marathi’ introduced some veterans, comedians and popular actors as housemates.

Resham Tipnis

Actor Resham Tipnis, who played a small role in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Baazigar’ is the first celeb to enter in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. She predominantly acts in television soaps and has done serials like ‘Satrangi Sasural’, ‘Karishma: The Miracles of Destiny’, among many others.

Vineet Bhonde

Comedian Vineet Bhonde is a part of the popular show ‘Chala Hawa Yeu Dya’. He is said to be a vertically challenged actor.

Aastad Kale and Jui Gadkari

The reel life couple Aastad Kale and Jui Gadkari from the show ‘Saraswati’ are among the other celebs to enter the house. Last year, there were reports that two did not share a good rapport off screen. The young stars are loved for their chemistry. Aastad is also a trained classical singer.

Anil Thatte

Former journalist Anil Thatte who reportedly used to run a publication called ‘Gaganbhedi’ in 80s and 90s is also there in the house. Thatte is known for his weird fashion sense and is spotted with luxurious cars and presently a self-proclaimed guru.

Smita Gondkar

Actress Smita Gondkar started her career with ‘Mumbaicha Dabbewala’ and has been part of films like ‘Mr and Mrs Unwanted’, ‘Main Hoon Rajinikanth’ ‘Gadbad Gondhal’. Smita is also a professional biker and was a semi-finalist in MTV Stunt Mania in 2009.

Aartii Solanki

Comedian Aartii Solanki had worked in movies like ‘Ugly’, ‘Dubhang’ and ‘Vaajlaach Paahije: Game Ki Shinema’.

Bhushan Kadu

Comedian Bhushan Kadu was part of shows like Mast Challay Aamcha, Navra Maza Bhavra, Ek Daav Bhatacha, Target, and Shyamchi Mummy among many others.

Usha Nadkarni

Veteran Usha Nadkarni, who is famous for her role in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’, is another entrant. Nadkarni was part of movies like ‘Vaastav’, ‘Krishna Cottage’, ‘Bhoothnath Returns’.

Megha Dhade

Megha made her debut in Marathi movies in 2012. She was part of DD National’s daily soap ‘Pehchaan’.

Sai Lokur

Sai Lokur starred in Kapil Sharma’s debut film ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’, and is pursuing fashion designing and has requested her college to let her appear for exams post the show. She made her debut as a child actor in Fardeen Khan’s ‘Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein’.

Pushkar Jog

Pushkar Jog is a dentist by profession and has done a couple of Hindi films too.

Rutuja Dharmadhikari

Rutuja is famous for her role in a horror show, ‘Ratris Khel Chale’.

Sushant Shelar and Rajesh Shringarpore

Rajesh and Sushant have worked together in the hit political drama ‘Zenda’.
