RiskIQ to Deliver Threat Hunting Educational Workshops at RSA 2018

The sessions will introduce new methods and threat datasets that can be used to speed and improve attack investigations, as well as present RiskIQ’s unique threat research related to recent high-profile attacks.

Threat Hunting Workshops
Tuesday, April 17, 2018
Four, 2-hour Sessions, starting at 9am

Attendees who register for the Threat Hunting Workshops will receive a certificate of completion for 2 CPE credits. The workshops will take place at the AMA Conference Center located at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, just a 5 minute walk from Moscone Center.

These hands-on training sessions led by PassiveTotal® Co-founder Brandon Dixon, will cover the following topics:

• Intro to threat infrastructure analysis
• Are you asking the right question of the data?
• How to pivot between multiple threat datasets to isolate attacker infrastructure
• Enhanced context via web crawling
• Common analyst pitfalls
• Hands-on exercises
• Integrations with ProtectWise, Phantom & Flashpoint
• Looking at your own organization’s digital footprint from an attacker’s perspective

• 11 - 1pm: Threat Hunting with RiskIQ
• 1 - 3pm: Threat hunting with RiskIQ
• 3 - 5pm: Threat hunting with RiskIQ and Phantom
