
Canon India launched a new mirrorless camera “EOS M50” with 4K movie shooting capability in India.
The EOS M50 is powered by the new DIGIC 8 image processor for outstanding image quality. It is equipped with an improved dual pixel CMOS AF, and is primed for shooting ultra-high definition movies that comes with excellent precision focusing even under low light conditions. With the touch and drag AF, users can select and move the AF frame via the touch panel while looking through the built-in 2.36 million dot electronic viewfinder (EVF).

Enhanced with the 4K movie shooting function, the EOS M50 is able to produce footage four times the resolution of full HD with exceptional depth and clarity. The 4K Frame Grab function allows high resolution images to be extracted from footage taken, ensuring not just remarkable still photo performance but also the preservation of memories and milestones.
With Wi-Fi and Near-field communication (NFC) connectivity, users can also pair the EOS M50 to their smart devices for sharing of images and videos.

Talking about the branding and promotion the company has planned to promote this product with new message called ‘Every trip is EOS trip’, “summarising the occasion that you can enjoy the number of sceneries when you are away from home and this will give you another aspect of value of photography” Kobayashi added.
EOS M50 will be available with a single kit option, the EF-M15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM lens at the price of Rs. 61,995 (inclusive of all taxes).
