Salute to Tourism

Hamilton currently hosts hundreds of sports events, meetings and conferences annually which represent tens of millions of dollars in local economic impact.

Tourism Hamilton works closely with local residents involved in bringing conferences, meetings, and sports events to the city and reaching out to more local ambassadors interested in bringing their event to Hamilton.

Tune in to 900 CHML on Tuesday May 29th (between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.) for a special live broadcast from the Tourism Hamilton Visitor Centre in the Lister Building to learn more on how to work with the Tourism Hamilton to host an event in Hamilton.

City of Hamilton and Tourism Hamilton staff, key tourism industry representatives, and leading convention and sport planners will be speaking with Bill Kelly and Scott Thompson throughout the day about Hamilton’s tourism landscape and how to book a successful event in the city.
