Reva L. Smith, 66, of Haysville formerly of Wellington, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 14, at St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita.

 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 19th at 10:30 a.m. at the Free Will Baptist Church in Wellington. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Shelley Family Funeral Home in Wellington, KS with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A memorial has been established to assist with the Kansas Kidney Foundation. Reva Lee Smith was born on November 28, 1951 the daughter of Kenneth and Betty McCants in Caldwell. She was a 1969 graduate of Caldwell High School.

Reva resided in Wellington and Haysville. Reva served the Sumner County residents for many years in both health care and restaurants. She had a kind heart and a willingness to help others.

 

Reva is survived by her sons: Anthony and Roseita Smith of Wellington, and Heath Smith of Poplar Bluff, MO; sister, Veda Mitchell; grandchildren: Hayli Jo Smith, Michaela Smith, Payton Smith, Parker Smith of Wellington and Coty Smith and Michael Smith of Poplar Bluff, MO; and a great grandchild, Davelynn Leighty; nephews: Jason and Kenneth Mitchell; and cousin, Bobby Dean McCants.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents and grandson, Preston Watters.
