Investigators have identified a 35-year-old man who was fatally stabbed in Deltona late Friday night, authorities said Saturday.
Volusia County Sheriff's Office spokesman Andrew Gant said the stabbing victim was Edwin Lee Daniels, of Deltona. Deputies responded to the victim's home at 1201 Howland Blvd. shortly after 10 p.m. Friday, Gant said.
"Detectives do not believe Daniels was killed in a random act that would present any continuing threat to the community," Gant said.
The investigation into the stabbing death is ongoing, he said.
