FLAGLER BEACH — Located two blocks from the beach, the house at 2667 S. Daytona Blvd. has been dubbed the perfect beach house.

Realtor Danielle Pierro, of Weichert Realtors Hallmark Properties, said some of the home’s features make it practical for coastal living, while other features create a beautiful, “beachy” appearance.

Tile floors throughout and an outdoor shower are practical for the beachside setting, Pierro said. Sliding doors with etchings of coastal birds and mermaids, decorative tiles in the master bathroom, a wooden walkway with nautical rope and the Florida room’s stained glass window depicting a waterfront landscape are a few examples of the decorative accents that contribute to the home’s coastal design. Volume ceilings, windows offering “a lot of natural light” and the “very open” floor plan contribute to the home’s bright, airy feel, she said.

“It’s an incredible, unique home with so many features and accents,” Pierro said. “It’s not your usual home.”

There is “so much” that makes the home stand out, according to Pierro, but what distinguishes it most from other beachside homes is its ample garage space. There are two, separate two-car garages — one for the guest suite, one to serve the main living space on the second floor.

“The fact that the garages can hold four cars, that’s not something you come across often at all, especially by the beach,” Pierro said. “The four-car garage is a big deal. A lot of the time, people will have toys like boats, golf carts or jet skis, and you can fit them all here.”

Pierro said the home could be suitable as a secondary, vacation home or accommodate full-time living. It could serve a variety of purposes, she said.

“Having a mother-in-law suite is always a plus, especially since it’s on the first floor and separate from the rest of the house,” Pierro said.

Perrio’s favorite space is the Florida room, which she said is unlike that of most other homes because it’s located on the second floor.

“I love the enclosed Florida room. It’s great for entertaining,” she said. “If I lived here, that’s where I’d spend most of my time.”

The home is a short walk from the beach, accessible from nearby public boardwalks, and there are “great restaurants” nearby, Pierro said.

The home is part of what Pierro called a golf cart community. Residents can drive golf carts on paved roads to get to nearby attractions, she said.

“Flagler Beach is one of the few places you can drive golf carts on the streets,” Pierro said. “It’s a nice, quiet town.”
