KATHMANDU: A construction laborer, who was on the run after thrashing his female co-worker, has been arrested from Dhapasi in Tokha Municipality-6, on Monday, police said.
Bijaya Tamang (30) of Thori Rural Municipality -4 in Parsa district had brutally hit 33-year-old Purnima BK on head, killing her on the spot last night near Dhapasi height in Tokha Municipality-7.
According to police, BK was found submerged in pool of blood at a corridor near Dhapasi height in the area last night. Police are unclear about the motives behind BK’s murder.
Meanwhile, the investigation into the case is underway.
