Pydhonie police have arrested a 36-year-old man for allegedly raping a woman. The accused allegedly raped the woman for over four years. The accused also recorded the first assault on video and later blackmailed her with the same video.
According to a report in DNA, the accused was identified as Sardar Shabbir Hussain. The accused also had threatened the woman to make her photographs and video public if she didn’t comply with his demands. Hussain befriended the victim on Facebook and the two eventually decided to meet in January 2014.
When she went to meet the accused, he offered her drink and later, after drinking it, she fell unconscious. Then, allegedly, Hussain raped her and filmed the entire act. Later, when she went to meet him again, he showed the photos and videos he had shot and continued to assault her for next four years, alleged the woman. A police official told DNA, “After verifying her claims, we registered an offence and arrested Hussain. The woman has claimed that his mother and brother have also taken money from her, and they have also been booked in the case.”
