All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

In Karnataka, protests erupted in various places today after the announcement of candidates list by the Congress party yesterday night. The supporters of aspirants who failed to get the party ticket held protests in Mangaluru, Siruguppa, Nelamangala and other places.

According to the list announced yesterday, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will contest from Chamundeshwari constituency, thereby dropping his plan to contest from the second seat in Badami.

Meanwhile, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has said in a tweet that his party will not fight the polls in Karnataka and extend their support to Janata Dal (Secular).
