Lijo Jose Pellissery's much-awaited project 'Ee. Maa. Yau' will finally see the light of the day. The 'Angamaly Diaries' director has confirmed the news on his Facebook page. The news was was also posted earlier by director Aashiq Abu ('Maayanadhi') who has announced that he has taken over as the producer.

The film, which won three Kerala State Film Awards, including Best Director for Pellissery, was originally supposed to release in December 2017. However, the overwhelmingly positive response to the film at its preview screening compelled Pellissery to postpone the release to accommodate more screens in India. This has made many viewers hopeful that the film will reach as many Indian screens as possible, preferably with multiple screenings in a day.
