Lucknow: The brutual gangrape of 8 year old girl has shook the nation to the core and there is a mass campaign on social media to demand justice.
Bollywood is no different from the countrymen and thus many celebrities have started posting their pictures with hashtag ‘I am Hindistan and I am ashamed’ playcards.
The same was also done by Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor demanding justice for the girl child.
But, it seems that Sonam’s tweet did not gel well with another B-town girl Koena Mitra.
Koena has voiced her opinion targeting Sonam’s tweet that the latter was trying to give a communal twist to the incident.
Sonam had tweeted, ‘I am Hindustan. I am Ashamed. #JusticeForOurChild 8 years old. Gangraped. Murdered. In βDeviβ-sthaan temple. #Kathua’

Koena, however, got pissed with the fact that people were highlighting only this issue. She lashed out at Sonam with some point to point questions and tweeted, ‘”Any comments @sonamakapoor? You condemned a heinous crime(I appreciate) but gave it a communal twist “Fake Hindus”. Kindly do the same for all . How can you blame an entire religion for this Rape. These victims are ours too! π #justiceForAll π (sic).”

Whatever the people are saying or writing, there is a common demand making India a safe place for girls and it’s high time we should do something.!
