More than 350 youth members, adult volunteers, donors, and special guests celebrated outstanding volunteers and members at the The Boys and Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls held its 66th Annual Recognition Banquet Thursday, held at The Stone Palace.
Youth of the Year awards were presented to Samuel Walker, Northeast Branch; Kristal Melton, Northwest Branch; Giovanni Read, Southeast Branch; Amaia Martin, Southwest Branch and Johnny Taylor, Rosewood Branch.
The Josh Kimbrough Distinguished Alumnus award was presented to Brandon Anderson. Anderson has served on the Boys & Girls Clubs Alumni & Friends Board of Directors for 12 years and is the Treasurer. He was a Boys Club member at the Southwest Branch. He is active in the community and serves on various committees.
The Ralph Donnell Youth Volunteer Awards were presented to Alexis Johnson, Central Branch; Alexsys Frazier, Northwest Branch; Dominicc King, Rosewood Branch; Shanda Larsen, Southeast Branch, and Kaylee Taylor, Southwest Branch.
