Three men were arrested by the police late on Sunday afternoon for illegal hunting.
The police said two men, aged 20 and 47 from Għaxaq, were arrested at about 6.30pm by the Administrative Law Enforcement section after they were found hunting illegally near Għaxaq.
A 42-year-old man, also from Għaxaq, was arrested some time later, for hunting using a modified firearm.
Investigations are continuing.
