POLICE have been called to a stabbing in Limehouse as a male is rushed to hospital in yet another stabbing in the Capital.

The victim was attacked in Limehouse, east London, this afternoon.

Police have cordoned the area off and are investigating.

A Met Police spokeswoman said: “We were called at 3.18pm to reports of a stabbing in Head Street.

“We believe the victim is male but do not have an update on his condition yet.”

The shocking news comes just a day after a woman was slaughtered in Brixton in the latest knife-related bloodshed to rock the city.

The woman, aged in her 30s, was killed in an incident in Sudbourne Road, Brixton on Sunday evening.

A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with tonight's incident, police said.

Scotland Yard said: “Officers attended, along with London's Air Ambulance.

"A female, believed to be aged in her 30s, was found suffering from stab wounds.

"Despite the efforts of paramedics she was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Next of kin are aware. Formal identification awaits.”

A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of her murder.

It is just the latest knife-related attack in London in recent weeks, with London Mayor Sadiq Khan appealing for calm earlier this month.
