Real Madrid are in “pole position” to sign Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, but it’s reported that Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are also interested in the striker.

The Polish star has three more years left on his current deal at Bayern, but a bid of more than £70m could tempt Bayern to sell the 29-year-old. It’s reported that Lewandowski’s agent Pini Zahavi is “thought to be pursuing a deal with Chelsea”. (The Guardian)

Alisson to stay at Roma

Roma goalkeeper Alisson, who is reportedly wanted by Liverpool and Real Madrid, looks set to stay at the Italian club after president James Pallotta said the 25-year-old Brazilian is going nowhere. Pallotta said: “We have no intention of selling him. I mean zero at all. I’m sure some people will probably come in with some bids, but I don’t have any interest in selling him, he’s a great goalkeeper. When we got him, I thought the same thing and as far as I’m concerned, I mean no.” (Sky Sports)

Thomas Lemar: Monaco to Arsenal/Liverpool

Monaco may consider offers for Thomas Lemar this summer. The French international was linked with Arsenal and Liverpool in the January transfer window and it’s claimed that Monaco would now seek bids of around £104m for the 22-year-old. (TeamTalk via Telefoot)

Cascarino: Pep will need Aguero replacement

Tony Cascarino says that now Manchester City have secured the title, boss Pep Guardiola will focus on signing a new striker. Cascarino writes: “I have never been 100% convinced that Pep Guardiola sees Sergio Aguero as his first choice. As good as Aguero has been, I don’t think he will be a certain starter next season. Gabriel Jesus is very young and there is still a lot to improve on, so their next port of call is going to be to target a special player. Will they entice someone like Luis Suarez or Kylian Mbappe? Or perhaps Pep will sign someone from South America we know nothing about.” (The Times

Wilfried Zaha: Crystal Palace to Manchester City

Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha is a £50m target for Premier League champions Manchester City. Zaha, 25, previously played for Manchester United, but despite two unhappy seasons at Old Trafford he is expected to be able to “step up again” if City come calling. (The Sun
