Indian dies in Iran road accident

An Indian national died and another was critically injured when a bus carrying a group of Indian pilgrims met with an accident in on Sunday night, Swaraj said on Monday.

"I have got the report from in Tehran. A bus carrying 20 Indian pilgrims on way to Qom met with an accident last night," Swaraj tweeted in response to a request for help from

"Unfortunately, we lost Ms.aged 14 years because of head injuries," she said.

She also said that another Indian national, Mohammad Ali, is in the intensive care unit while 18 others were discharged after first aid.

"Our mission staff is in the hospital to provide any assistance," Swaraj said.
