All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

In Maharashtra, heavy rain with gusty winds and lightning was witnessed in some parts of Vidarbha and Marathwada yesterday. Eight people have lost their lives due to lightning at various places in the region. Crops have also been damaged.

In Marathwada, Nanded, Parbhani, Latur, Hingoli and Usmanabad districts witnessed heavy rains. Due to gusty winds, 500 houses were damaged in a village in Usmanabad district.
