Haryana Minister Anil Vij sends legal notice to Dushyant Chautala

Haryana Health and Sports Minister Anil Vij on Saturday served a six-page legal notice to the Hisar MP Dushyant Chautala over his allegations of scam in Health Department.

Earlier this week, the INLD leader Chautala had also sent Vij a legal notice after the Minister reportedly termed the MP a drug addict. Vij had used the term while referring to the allegations of scam in his department.

“Chautala had levelled the allegation of Rs 300 scam whereas the department had local purchase of Rs 40.86 crore. Either Dushyant Chautala should prove the allegations, else he shall file criminal case against Dushyant,” said Anil Vij on Saturday.

He added that Chautala is unnecessarily trying to defame the government.

Notably, Chautala had last month alleged that norms have been violated in the purchases made at the district level by the concerned officials over the past three years in Haryana. Chautala had claimed that this is a scam of Rs 300 crore in Haryana and also, demanded a probe by Central Bureau of Investigation in the matter.
