Wichita Falls Poetry Society salutes March contest winners

The Wichita Falls Poetry Society recently saluted the winners in the club's March contest:

• Sheri Sutton, first place, for “Frozen pastureland”
• Cynthia Archibald, second place, for “Scattered bloodstained tufts”
• Geneva Rodgers, third place, for “Spring’s bitter night wind” 
• Honorable Mentions are:
• “A nightly routine” by Nick Schreiber (1M)
• “The sharp sound of sleet” by Roberta Sund (2HM)
• “The buttercup closes” by Webb Key. 

Critic judge was Loretta Diane Walker of Odessa.
