Chinese Grand Prix qualifying results: Confirmed grid after penalties

Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen will start on the front row of the grid for the Chinese Grand Prix as Ferrari look to secure their third win of the season.

Mercedes were over half a second off the pace in the cool temperatures, with Valtteri Bottas pipping Lewis Hamilton into third by three hundredths.

Elsewhere, Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez made the top ten while Pierre Gasly and Toro Rosso were down in 17th after their heroics in Bahrain

Sauber ace Marcus Ericsson has been handed a five-place grid penalty for failing to slow down for yellow flags, although the Swede was due to start at the back anyway.
