Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho BLASTS players for handing Man City Premier League title
MANCHESTER UNITED manager Jose Mourinho said the attitude of his players had changed following their victory over Manchester City last weekend.
Manchester United were unable to follow up their success in the Manchester derby as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to West Brom this evening - a result which handed City the Premier League title.
United were poor throughout their home clash with the Baggies and Jay Rodriguez headed home the only goal of the game to keep their faint survival hopes alive.
The Red Devils rallied late on but were unable to find a way past their resilient visitors.
So Mourinho had to concede that United's slim hopes of a title challenge are now mathematically over - and he questioned his side’s attitude following the latest defeat.

"I won eight titles and I am not on the moon because I won against Manchester City,” he said.
"I saw lots of people over the moon because we won against City.

"We deserve to be punished, but the defeat was too heavy.”

Mourinho was then asked if he was frustrated because City won the title on the back of United’s loss.
But he hit back at that question.
"I have won titles, I would not be happy if someone said I won title because someone lost a match,” he added.
“City won the title because they won more points than everyone else, not tell City they won title because United did not win, it is not fair on them."
