More signals to regulate traffic, says CP

Water bottles and goggles distributed among personnel

Commissioner of Police V.B. Kamalasan Reddy has said that the traffic police personnel were struggling with regulation of traffic in various parts of Karimnagar town due to non-availability of traffic signals.

Participating in the distribution of cool water bottles and goggles to the traffic police personnel in Karimnagar town on Sunday at a cost of ₹1.8 lakh , the Commissioner of Police said that the traffic police faced several hardships in the diversion of traffic due to the ongoing road widening works in the town. He said that they would soon reintroduce the traffic signals in the town and would install the traffic signals at Court crossroads and Mancherial crossroads in the town initially, and later extend the facilities to other parts of the town. Appreciating the traffic police for their relentless service withstanding the vagaries of weather, he assured reward for outstanding police personnel.

Traffic inspector Sadanandam, SIs Cheralu and Santosh Kumar were present.
