Man, age 23, stabbed to death in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a 23-year-old man was stabbed to death early Sunday morning in Kitchener.

Officers were called to a home on Kenora Drive, in the Ottawa St. N. and River Rd. E. area, just after midnight after reports of an "altercation" outside a home.

They found a man with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital, where he later died.

Another 22-year-old man has been arrested. 

According to police, the two men were known to each other and the killing was "a targeted attack."

The major crime unit is investigating.
