That is the verdict of Manchester United legend Nemanja Vidic, who was working as a pundit for Sky Sports.
United went into the game knowing they had to avoid defeat to delay Manchester City’s inevitable Premier League title win.
Basement-club West Brom are all but down but easily could have taken the lead through Jake Livermore in the opening 45 minutes.
Whereas United struggled to create any big opportunities of note.
I think it was difficult to go through the middle, I think Man United tried to go through the middle, they moved the ball slow
Vidic understands why the Old Trafford crowd were frustrated at a dour first-half showing from their side.
“Probably the second half will be better!” the former defender said.
“I think it was difficult to go through the middle, I think Manchester United tried to go through the middle, they moved the ball slow.

“Hopefully the second half will be better.
“They have to move the ball faster and move better without the ball.”
