Man, age 22, stabbed to death in Kitchener, police say

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a 22-year-old man was stabbed to death early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to a home on Kenora Drive, in the Ottawa St. N. and River Rd. E. area of Kitchener, just after midnight for reports of an "altercation" outside a home.

There, they found a 22-year-old man with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital, where he later died.

Another 22-year-old man has been arrested.

Police said the two men were known to each other and the killing was "a targeted attack."

The major crime unit is investigation.
