Himachal marks 71st foundation day, awards best performers

On the occasion, personnel of state police, home guards, Services Selection Board (SSB) and Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets took out a parade. Traditional folk dances by various groups also dotted the occasion.

"Himachal was founded on April 15, 1948. The safety and security of the women and maintaining better law and order in the state has been the priority of the government since then," the said.

Aanchal thanked the deities and congratulated people on the occasion of Himachal Day. She exhorted the youth of the state to opt for sports and said she would keep up the pride of Himachal.
