Newcastle transfer news revealed live on Sky Sports… is this the first summer signing?
NEWCASTLE’s first piece of summer transfer business seems to be edging closer.
Goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, who joined Newcastle on loan from Sparta Prague in January, looks set to make his move permanent.
Dubravka has impressed under Rafael Benitez, keeping three clean sheets in his first six Premier League appearances.
Another player who has shone since arriving on loan in the winter transfer window is Brazilian winger Kenedy.
The Chelsea man has scored twice in his eight appearances for Newcastle and has played a big part in dragging the Toon away from the Premier League relegation zone.

They have more chance, they think, of making the loan signing of their goalkeeper Martin Dubravka permanent
However, his form has led to the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich being linked with his signature.
During coverage of today’s home clash with Arsenal, Sky Sports presenter David Jones revealed Newcastle are more confident of making Dubravka’s loan permanent than they are of Kenedy’s.
“Newcastle would love to keep him (Kenedy),” Jones said.
“The problem is his form has alerted one or two of Europe’s major clubs. So that might be a bit of a barrier.
