Vehicles belong to doc, social activist
Indore : Two bike-borne youths damaged windscreen of two cars that belonged to doctor and social activist near Tilak Nagar police station on late Friday night. The incident was captured in CCTVs installed near the spot but police took a written complaint from car owners.
The incident came to light on Saturday morning when Dr OP Patil, a resident of service lane near Pipliyahana Square, spotted damaged windscreen of his car parked outside his house. Later, he checked CCTV and found that two persons came on bike and damaged his car. Dr Patil said that the incident took place at 11.53 pm. Two persons on bike are seen in CCTV and one of them damaged windscreen of his car by throwing a heavy stone.
Another car belonged to social activist Dipti Rajesh Agrawal who lives on same street. Dipti said her son Divyank had parked the car outside the house around 11.30 pm. The CCTV footage shows a person throwing a beer bottle on car. Two persons were on a bike and pillion driver had thrown the beer bottle.
Investigating officer, SI Dilip Gour said that a case under Section 427 of IPC has been registered against unidentified accused on Saturday. Two persons were captured in the CCTV on moving bike while throwing beer bottle but their faces are not clear. “We have taken the statement of the complaints but they told police they don’t have enmity with anyone. It is believed that the youths were in inebriated state and they damaged car to create panic in the area.”
