CHANDIGARH: The ongoing tussle between
Haryana health minister
Anil Vij and
Dushyant Chautala took another turn on Saturday as the former served a six-page legal notice to the Hisar MP over his allegations of scam in
health department.
Earlier, Chautala had sent Vij a legal notice after the minister reportedly termed the
INLD MP a drug addict. Vij had used the term while referring to the allegations of scam in his department.
Vij said that Chautala was unnecessarily trying to defame the government.
"He had levelled the allegation of Rs 300 scam whereas the department had local purchase of Rs 40.86 crore. Either Dushyant Chautala should prove the allegations, else he shall file criminal case against Dushyant,’’ said Anil Vij.
Earlier this month, INLD MP had come out with the allegations of scam into the local purchase of medicines and disposables by various hospitals across the state. It was alleged that the some of the material was procured from the non-existent companies or the companies which did not posses the Phrma license from the state.
