Sir — This refers to the article, “Time for India, Nepal to recalibrate ties” (April 11) by Ashok K Mehta. Given Nepal’s growing ties with China, India must treat its neighbour as an equal. Given the past experience, India must refrain from issuing statements which may fan anti-India sentiments in Nepal. More ground action and verbal restraint are required.
