After pulling over the teen on Del. 1 northbound north of the William V. Roth Bridge, officers smelled marijuana and saw bags of the drug as well as paraphernalia, Sgt. Richard Bratz of Delaware State Police said.

Officers searched the car and found 353 grams of marijuana, Bratz said.

The teen, Mosi L. Howell of Wilmington, was taken into custody and charged with manufacturing, delivery or possession with intent to deliver contraband substance; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; not wearing a seat belt; and driving without a license.

He was arraigned and released on $3,000 unsecured bond.
