THANE: A 30-year-old homemaker was set on ablaze allegedly by her husband and mother-in-law after a tiff in
Wagle Estate on Friday.
The victim's husband
Ashok Mange (40) and his mother,
Jamnaben Mange (71), have been arrested. The police said that the victim,
Daksha Mange, has suffered nearly 80% burn injuries and is in a critical condition.
The victim was allegedly abused, threatened and even beaten up over household issues and for not bringing dowry. A case was registered at Wagle Estate police station.
