Madan Kaushik feted with Life Time achievement, Bharat Gaurav award

Senior Cabinet Minister and State Government spokesperson Madan Kaushik has been honoured with Life Time achievement and Bharat Gaurav award by the Sanskriti Yuva Sansthan. The Minister was awarded for his achievements in social, cultural and political fields. Ayush Kaushik, son of Madan Kaushik received  the award on his behalf at a function held at House of Commons, London on Friday as the Minister could not attend the function due to his official pre-occupations.

Speaking on the occasion after receiving the award, Ayush Kaushik said that it was a matter of great honour and pride that Haridwar district of Uttarakhand from India has been selected for this award. He said that Uttarakhand is known for its’ natural beauty and environment and river Ganga attracts people from around the world to the holy land. He further said that maintaining continuous and uninterrupted flow of Ganga should be the priority. 

In his message which was read on the occasion, Madan Kaushik said it is a proud moment for him to receive this Life Time achievement award. He said that he has got an opportunity to contribute in the development of Uttarakhand state. He thanked the organising committee, fellow countrymen, and residents of Haridwar and Uttarakhand for this Life Time Achievement award.
