Hry to introduce English language at UKG, LKG classes

Haryana Government will introduce English language in UKG and LKG classes under a pilot project from current academic session.

English will be taught in these classes in 119 schools across the State under a pilot project launched by the Education Department, said Haryana Education Minister, Ram Bilas Sharma, while speaking after paying tributes to BR Ambedkar in Rewari.

Teachers are being given good salaries and educated teachers are hired in government schools of the state to ensure better level of education, he said.

The Minister said that some complaints have been received against private schools in different districts that shoes, socks and books are being sold at the time of admission besides charging the students admission and building fund.

An advisory would be issued next week that no school would charge any fund in the name of admission and building fund, he added.
