Volunteers have been out in force helping a desperate family who are trying to find a missing dad.
Tim Evans, 59, has been missing from since leaving their Llandudno home last Thursday, March 29 and today his family launched a fresh search effort from a hotel in the town.
His family, i ncluding sons Tom and Chris, are becoming increasingly concerned.
Volunteers came to the area to help search specific areas around the town in the hope of finding Mr Evans.
His wife Maria, who has coordinated the search, said; “Tim has been missing now for two weeks and two days.

“He left home with no coat, no money that we’re aware of, no phone or way of contacting us having left letters having intimated that he was in a very dark place.
“There were searches at the time and police searches over the following 48 hours but subsequently from that we have not found very much from CCTV.
“Dog searches tracked him to Llanrhos which is about three quarters of a mile from where we live but we were not able to pick up any more.”
Mrs Evans, a district nurse, said that a sighting was then reported in the Llandudno Junction area.

She said: “The dog did track his scent there but that went cold there again not far from where he had been sighted.
“We are looking at CCTV from the train station and from buses but they have not picked up any signs of Tim at all.

“We are just really desperate to know where he has gone because there can’t be any closure for us and we need to know if he is safe.”
Mrs Evans said that today’s searches would focus on certain areas of woodland, and other specific locations around Llandudno .

She added that one person was planning to head out in a boat to check coves around the Great Orme and Little Orme for any signs of Tim.
Mrs Evans said: “Lots of people said they would like to help and it is a way for us to be able to cover more ground.
“We are so grateful for all the support and messages that we are getting.
“It’s helping to keep us buoyed up.”

The 59-year-old father-of-two is around 5ft 5ins tall and of large build.
Mr Evans suffers with a spinal condition, which causes him chronic pain as well as depression.
A North Wales Police spokesman said: “Police enquiries are ongoing and officers are concerned for Mr Evans’ welfare. Anybody with information is asked to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting incident reference number 22034.”
