Winx equals Black Caviar's 25-race unbeaten streak

Winx has equalled Black Caviar's record 25 consecutive wins after claiming the Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.

As usual, jockey Hugh Bowman held the champion mare at the back of the pack before a late charge.

Winx went seven wide to get to the outside around the final turn – going on to clear all comers with 200m of turf to spare.

Winx paid 1.20 on the tote, with Gailo Chop (2.70) and Happy Clapper (1.75) completing the placings. The trifecta paid 20.30.
