Biker dies in mishap in JSpur

A biker was killed in a mishap on the Sarala road of the Cuttack-Paradip State Highway in a head-on collision with a speeding truck on Thursday evening.

The deceased was identified as Ranjan Barala of Teramanpur village in the Tirtol area. Sources said while he was returning home by his bike, the truck coming from Cuttack hit him from the front and he got injured. He was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital here, where he succumbed to his injuries.
