Kathua rape-and-murder: Two BJP ministers submit resignation to party |
In Jammu and Kashmir, amid the uproar on Rasana-Kathua alleged rape and murder case of a minor nomadic girl, the senior BJP leaders, the State Minister for Forest Chaudhary Lal Singh and Minister for Commerce and Industries Chander Prakash Ganga have submitted their resignations to state party chief Sat Sharma.
Party sources told AIR that in the wake of the allegations of their participation in a controversial rally organised in Kathua in connection with the probe into the rape and murder case, both the Ministers submitted their resignations to the party state president in Jammu this evening. Both the Ministers had favoured CBI enquiry into the case.
