It is shameful to delay justice, says Kamal

Makkal Needhi Maiam leader Kamal Haasan released a video urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to set up the Cauvery Management Board.

Stating that it was Mr. Modi’s duty to form the Cauvery Management Board, Mr. Haasan said, “Tamil people are protesting for justice. The justice has been given, but it is your duty to implement it.” He further said there was a perception in Tamil Nadu that the delay was due to political compulsions associated with the election in Karnataka.

‘Justice for both States’

“That is dangerous, even shameful. I hope you will change this perception. You must form the CMB to provide justice to the people of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka,” he said.
