James Bond 25: Miss Moneypenny SNUBBED? Naomie Harris – ‘I haven’t heard anything’
JAMES BOND Moneypenny star Naomie Harris hopes to return for Daniel Craig’s final 007 movie, but admits she has heard nothing.
When James Bond was rebooted with Craig’s Casino Royale in 2006 there was a real scaling back.
Gone were the cheesy gadgets and hijinks and puns with Q and Moneypenny, as the newly recruited Bond set off not to infiltrate a volcano lair, but win a poker game against a villain with an inhaler and leaky eyeball.
However when the 50th anniversary came around in 2012, Craig wanted to honour the franchise.
So Skyfall saw Q and Moneypenny recast with Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris.

While both returned for 2015’s Spectre, arguably Craig’s campest outing to date, it’s not certain if they’ll be back for Bond 25 next year.
After all director Danny Boyle’s Trainspotting screenwriter John Hodge is hard at work on the story, the first not written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade since 1999’s The World Is Not Enough.
How different this will make the movie remains a mystery, as does whether Craig’s co-stars will return.
In fact Harris attended the Rampage European premiere on Wednesday evening, where she revealed she still doesn’t know if she’ll be asked back of Bond 25.
The 41-year-old told ITV: “It’ll be very disappointing if I’m not involved.
“I really hope they ask me back. I haven’t heard anything.
“I know it’s going later in the year and released next year.
“I know quite excitingly that Daniel [Craig] is definitely back and I’ve heard that Danny Boyle is attached as director. Who knows.”

Harris also told the Press Association: “Let’s hope so. I would be very disappointed not to be. I would love to, absolutely.”
“I would love that. I started my career with Danny, I think he is phenomenal, he is a visionary, he has such class and taste and I think he would do spectacular with it.”
James Bond 25 will be released in UK cinemas in November 2019.
