Surendra Singh, from Bairiya assembly segment, said on Thursday the country will see the dominance of Islam if opposition parties are voted to office in the 2019 general election.
Singh was addressing BJP members who were fasting with Ballia MP Bharat Singh as part of the party’s countrywide stir. “PM Modi has faith in bhagwan (god) while BSP’s Mayawati and SP’s Mulayam Singh Yadav have faith in Islam. Congress’s Sonia and
Rahul Gandhi have respect for Jerusalem. Hence, if the opposition wins, the people will see dominance of Islam,” he said.
