Railway Board chief to felicitate officials

PATNA: Railway Board chairman Ashwani Lohani will be in Patna to take part in the ongoing 63rd Railway Week function on Friday morning. He will be the first chairman to attend the event in Bihar and felicitate East Central Railway's (ECR) officials and employees for their outstanding performance in the zone.
Lohani will visit the superspecialty hospital of the railways located at the Karbigahiya end of Patna Junction. "He will interact with the doctors and take stock of the medical facilities available there. He will also inspect the condition of tracks between Patna Junction and Rajendra Nagar Terminal," ECR's chief public relations officer (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar said on Thursday.

The Railway Board chief will also go to a photography-cum-rail exhibition at the Gyan Bhawan and interact with mediapersons later. He will leave for New Delhi in the evening.
