From here you can either embark on a trip to watch a milky cascade set against a dramatic landscape at Kollam- the Palaruvi waterfalls. This and more awaits one as the state-run tour and travel agency Tourfed strings together a set of tour programmes for city residents. The agency has structured a bevvy of one-day trips that the city residents can choose. The ‘Anantha Vismayam’ package, ‘One-day Wonder’, ‘Anantha Vismayam Film Tourism Package’, ‘Munroe Island’, and ‘Thenmala-Palaruvi’ package are some of the one-day packages the organisation has in store.

“With the start of the vacation season, the number of people opting for tour packages has only burgeoned. Each package can be customised according to the need of the traveller. The Ananthavismayam package and the recently launched Munroe Island packages are garnering more tour requests.
