Xiaomi Comet, Sirius specifications leaked

Two upcoming Xiaomi handsets will feature the unannounced Snapdragon 710 SoC, reports XDA Developers. Further, these mid-range handsets have reportedly been codenamed 'Comet' and 'Sirius'. As per the report, Xiaomi 'Comet' will come with specifications including the Snapdragon 710 SoC, an OLED display with Always On feature, dual-SIM capabilities, a 3100mAh battery, an IR blaster, and Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The phone will not have NFC support, neither will it have a microSD card slot.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 'Sirius' is said to sport the same Snapdragon 710 SoC. Other specifications are said to include an OLED display with Always On feature and a notch, dual-SIM support, a bigger 3120mAh battery, portrait mode in the camera app, and Android 8.1 Oreo. Similar to Comet, this Xiaomi smartphone will also not get support for NFC and microSD cards.

Talking briefly about the upcoming Snapdragon 710 SoC, the report reveals the mid-range chip will have a dual-core high-end CPU cluster - possibly, a customised version of the ARM Cortex-A75 - and a hexa-core low-end CPU cluster - which could be a customised ARM Cortex-A55.
